Medical marijuana unwelcome at work; state moves toward decriminalizing medical uses of marijuana give rise to conflicts between state and federal laws
Article Abstract:
The conflicts between state and federal laws resulting from state moves to decriminalize marijuana use are discussed. Medical use of the drug being unwelcome in the workplace is also covered. Seven states have laws that permit medical use of marijuana, listing conditions for which use of the drug is permitted and decriminalizing the drug when used for these purposes.
