Plant maintenance
Article Abstract:
Maintenance management and pressure systems software can be used to monitor plant safety. Facilities managers can use computers to schedule preventive maintenance or inspections, monitor plant assets or parts, and plan work or repairs. Maintenance management software facilitates cost analyses as well. Specialized modules for monitoring power distribution and pressure systems are also useful.

Noise
Article Abstract:
Computer software and computer-based training can be used to address noise problems in the workplace. Under UK law, employers must assess noise conditions and eliminate or reduce high noise levels. Software is useful in tracking noise levels, recordkeeping, analyzing noise data, and even testing workers' hearing abilities through audiometry techniques.
