Article Abstract:

The facets of law and practice in the emerging market and transition economies related to the financial development are analyzed and the significance of the property rights and its correlation with collateral and insolvency mechanism is described. The prudent characteristics of the creation and treatment of secured creditor interests, procedures for insolvency, and the functional relationship between these related elements to law are analyzed.

Arbitration and the modernisation of EC competition law

Article Abstract:

The purpose of modernisation reform was to protect competition in an enlarged European Community. The main features of the Modernisation are provided and the consequences of the Modernisation Regulation for the practice of international commercial arbitration are discussed.
