A hard lesson learned: disaster planning and recovery are no longer optional
Article Abstract:
Many law firms were impacted by the terrorist destruction of the World Trade Center, on Sep 11, 2001, with at least 1,343 lawyers having their practices in the twin towers themselves. With no intention to diminish the importance of the lives that were lost in that event, lessons learned about disaster planning and resumption of normal business activities are discussed.
