Article Abstract:

Football player Wilt Martin and later attorney Ajili Hodari has had an unusual life, with pre-law school activities including college football, a trip to East Africa to learn Swahili along a name change to Ajili Hodari, and 15 years as an activist in the San Francisco Bay area. After law school, for which he returned home to the Midwest, je joined to Ohio firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease where he used his college sports experience to represent 25 NFL players.

Crazy in Alabama; Richard Poff blew the whistle on a Birmingham plaintiffs' firm. State judges told him to get his head examined

Article Abstract:

The story of lawyer Richard Poff is told, as an example of the tribulations an attorney who chooses to be honest and blow the whistle on his former firm. Poff exposed Roden, Hayes and Carter as guilty of such offenses as charging personal vacations to clients and was rewarded with a referral for a psychiatric exam.
