Article Abstract:
The Allen administration in Virginia has repeatedly stressed that its top priority is to create a stronger state economy with increased job creation. As such, the administration has undertaken regulatory process reform, revised environmental policy and sought to reclaim authority over regulatory affairs in accordance with the Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution. The state's fight to oppose the EPA's interpretation of the Clean Air Act is also noteworthy.
