Who guards the guardians?
Article Abstract:
Government agencies do not place a great emphasis on creativity and productivity because they are relatively free from forces that reward efficiency and punish inefficiency. Congress, itself, is guilty of adding to governmental inefficiency by producing a plethora of regulations that only create mistrust among public employees and prevent their empowerment. By scrapping outdated and unjustified regulations, the government would be able to bolster the effectiveness, morale and image of the Civil Service.

Friends in low places
Article Abstract:
The US should not allow incompetent individuals in key government positions as they could undermine the basis of the US constitution with their policies. The law should be kept in the hands of competent individuals whether or not they have friends in high places as they would determine the outcome of federal regulatory measures. The law should be kept safe from people who do not know it.
