Advertising, search costs, and social welfare
Article Abstract:
A study, analyzing the effects of advertising, leading to higher or lower market prices under consumer search costs, is presented. For this purpose, a model is developed, showing the affects of equilibrium prices, search costs, and social welfare in monopoly and imperfectly competitive markets.

Does decrease in copying cost support copyright term extension?
Article Abstract:
Simulation of a model shows that a decrease in copying cost demands a decrease in copyright duration. Longer lifespan and deferred child-bearing may support copyright term extension.
