Technology arms peeping Toms with a new and dangerous arsenal: a compelling need for states to adopt new legislation
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning developments in electronic surveillance as a way of opening members of the public to increasing video voyeurism are discussed. A model state statute is advocated to protect the victims of such voyeurism and to punish people who violate another's privacy by active electronic voyeurism or by providing the market for the distribution of such unauthorized material.

CyberSLAPP suits and John Doe subpoenas: balancing anonymity and accountability in cyberspace
Article Abstract:
When the writers of anonymous web postings are sued, their internet service providers often immediately reveal their identities in response to subpoenas. The author proposes a change in the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 that would allow a court to review the subpoena before the plaintiffs identity is revealed.

Megan's law: analysis on whether it is constitutional to notify the public of sex offenders via the Internet
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the use of the Internet as a medium for public notification of the addresses of sex offenders are discussed.The conclusion is reached that Megan's law is constitutional because of the compelling governmental interests in protecting children and promoting the Internet as a means to this end.
