Amateur boxing: unprepared fighters killed in poorly regulated sport
Article Abstract:
Art Dore, founder and promoter of Toughman boxing event, feels that this event is safer than amateur boxing because bouts are limited to three one-minute rounds, and fighters wear helmets, oversized gloves and groin protectors. However, the Toughman sport is under assault by officials in Michigan and elsewhere as efforts are made to find out about the numerous deaths that occurred in the sport and to highlight the and lack of regulation so that would help warn future participants.

Newseum to honor sacrifice of Don Bolles
Article Abstract:
Don Bolles, an Arizona Republic reporter, who covered crime and political corruption, went to meet a source that had promised to give information on land fraud but got killed as a powerful bomb was detonated in his car. The Newseum, an international museum of news, displayed his car in a gallery called Dateline Danger to educate visitors about the dangers journalists face and make them remember his sacrifice.
