Author Catherine Asaro contributed her first novella to the periodical, 'Analog - Science Fiction, Science Fact,' in the Apr 1994 issue. She then became the periodical's Renaissance Woman who is tasked to write stories with strong, well-rounded and sympathetic female heroines.
