Court finds prosecutor's right to cross-examine can trump reporter's privilege
Article Abstract:
Fost v. Superior Court, a California appellate court ruling vacating a contempt order against a journalist for refusal to answer a prosecutor's questions during a murder trial, is discussed. The court noted that a contempt finding of a reporter who was a defense witness would be proper.
