EADS unit hires former Pentagon acquisitions official
Article Abstract:
David Oliver, a former Pentagon acquisitions official and retired rear admiral has been appointed as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of EADS North America and will look after marketing and business development activities of the company. He is a graduate of the Naval Academy who was employed with the Electronic Systems Integration Division of Northrop Grumann following which he was responsible for Pentagon industrial trade policy with Europe, Asia and the Far East and finally served in Iraq as the director of management and budget for coalition forces just prior to joining EADS.
