Generals push need for future systems now

General Kevin Byrnes is one of the Army's top generals that are pushing for Future Combat Systems to support the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. As part of this goal, the Army recently terminated 48 programs, realigning 24 and canceling 24 outright thereby saving $22 billion over the next six years.
