The author examines Lockheed Martin's announcement of a joint venture with Harris Corp. and Embraer Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica S.A. for work on U.S. Army Aerial Common Sensor program. Lockheed may have to pay some F/A-22 overruns
Article Abstract:
Information regarding the proposed legislation by the House Armed Services Committee to force Lockheed Martin to pay for some budget overruns in the development of the F/A-22 fighter is discussed. The company has gone over budget by $876 million dollars which some in congress are lobbying to have them pay for.
