Article Abstract:
A freelance investigative journalist describes the sequence of events that forced him to leave mainstream journalism. He narrates the ordeals he suffered at the hands of the editors and the conflicting emotional states he underwent after his resignation. His first case as a freelance investigative journalist that led to publishing the result in his own magazine is detailed. His experiences as publisher of the Ohio Observer are also narrated.
