Navy increasingly draws on long-distance tech support
Article Abstract:
The Navy's Distance Support program is designed to provide video conferencing, secure chat rooms, and digital resources for sailors to communicate quickly to solve technology issues rather than relying upon a technician to be flown in to repair a problem. One result of the program will be a saving of funds for other uses.
