Senate committee tries to move US-Russian project forward
Article Abstract:
A joint House/Senate committee will consider means for moving forward the Russian-American Observation Satellite (RAMOS). The project has been hampered by years of vacillation, a lack of a signed agreement, and underfunding. The project would consist of two satellites to monitor for ballistic launches, and provide early warning.
