Article Abstract:
An analysis of the way that scientists do and publish their research, with particular attention paid to the impact that the Internet has had on this process. It is noted that the Internet has led to a revolution in the publishing of scientific research, but it is noted that this does not nor should not mean the end for paper journals, which at the very least serve a valuable purpose as archivable back-ups for electronic records that could be lost.
