What could possibly be corrupt in my town?
Article Abstract:
Scenarios on how local government officials could abuse the powers of their offices are presented. Reporters play an important part in bringing to the public's attention problems regarding abuse of power by local officials. If such a problem is present, reporters should first check out the town's code of ethics and other documents relevant to the problem. Interviews with the officials concerned should also be conducted.
