Article Abstract:

The twists and turns of planning and shooting an episode on boy racers for a series about teenage antisocial behavior called Rude Britannia are narrated by its freelance producer/director. The circumstances that led the unit to actually shoot for just ten days instead of the planned four weeks are described. The episode finally got finished by deviating from the series template, filming two teenagers racing in modified cars on city streets.
