Atlantic 252 co-founder Baxter in surprise departure

Article Abstract:

Atlantic 252 managing director has unexpectedly quit the station to pursue other interests. Baxter, part of the team that launched the Dublin-based station 10 years ago, is on leave until Sept. 1. Peter Waak, radio operations vice president of the station's parent company, CLT-Ufa, takes temporary charge until a replacement can be found. Baxter's departure comes at a difficult time for Atlantic. The station dropped 800,000 listeners in the first quarter of this year compared with same period last year.
