Independent Radio News editor Jon Godel, handles content and bulletins to an audience of over 29 million a week, believes that listeners will be more engaged if relevant, local news are provided by radio stations. Godel also believes that technology has help deliver a wider variety of news faster and more efficiently, with the emergence of new platforms. Godel's views on the radio news industry are given.
