Ex-BBC staffer lands Y-TTTV features role
Article Abstract:
Yorkshire Tyne Tees Television (Y-TTTV) director of programs, John Whiston, has appointed Bridget Boseley, a former entertainment and features executive at BBC Productions, as Y-TTTV's new features department head. As head of features department, Boseley is expected to work closely with Y-TTTV's controller of factual programs, Chris Bryer, in producing programs for ITV and other broadcasters. Y-TTTV has also restructured its factual group, appointing Helen Scott, an executive producer for factual programs, as managing editor of the department, and Peter Gordon as executive producer for features and factuals.

Eyre attempts to fill Cox role within ITV network
Article Abstract:
ITV's Richard Eyre, the company's chief executive, is looking for somebody to assume the position vacated by Barry Cox, the former director of the ITV Association (ITVA). Cox, credited for his crucial role in the company's entry into digital terrestrial TV, left the firm after a 28-year carreer. Eyre, who has hired the services of a corporate headhunter to find Cox's successor, said that the position, which has a six-figure salary, has been upgraded to include leading talks with the other ITV firms for funding from the Network Centre.

Duncanson gathers Moss for Chrysalis tv
Article Abstract:
Chrysalis Television managing director Neil Duncanson has appointed Tony Moss, currently the head of factual entertainment at BBC Production, to lead its newly established entertainment unit, Chrysalis tv. Moss is expected to give up his position at BBC Production in October 1998 to start his new job at Chrysalis tv. The new division has already been commissioned to produce a football documentary entitled, It's Only a Game, and a 6x30-minute series for Channel 4, with the title Martin Brundle's Quest for Speed.
