ITV axes news channel

ITV has advised that it will close down ITV News Channel. This implies that approximately 70 persons will lose their jobs. The move is expected to save ITV 3 million pounds sterling per annum. ITV is planning to use 2 million pounds sterling from these savings for new news programs.

TV sale to focus Chrysalis radio
