LBC pay-podcasts reach 14,000 subs

Article Abstract:

LBC 97.3 FM, a Global Radio-owned station, now has 14,000 subscribers in its commercial podcast business. It now charges its subscribers, who download between 200,000 to 250,000 shows a month, 12 pounds sterling for a six-month rollling contract.

Capital receives much-needed boost

Capital Radio in the United Kingdom saw 211,000 new listeners on its radio stations during the 2003 second quarter. The station reported a total of 2.62 million listeners during the period.
