Mergers, word for word
Article Abstract:
A sarcastic and mocking definition of some commonly used terminologies currently in use in the world of media mergers is provided. A new management team is described as an executive group with a population approximating that of Calcutta and whose combined pay is more than the gross national product of the United Arab Emirates and Japan. Information age is defined as an age where people no longer have to go out of their homes for anything. The Wall Street's positive reaction is sarcastically described as a gain of 153 points in the stock market while 100,000 workers are retrenched.
