Ofcom's gamble on ITV

United Kingdom's Office of Communications has decreased some of the regulatory provisions on ITV Plc. to enable the transition towards digital environment. ITV will also be paying lesser fees for its analogue spectrum to Ofcom. It remains to be seen whether the benefits will spill over to viewers or ITV will gobble the benefits.
