TV soap's Mr. Fix-it
Article Abstract:
BBC appointed Mal Young as head of drama series to impose stability in its operations after up to seven officials had held that position over a seven-year period. Young, who is already experienced in the series genre, chose to rejuvenate the ailing EastEnders product first. Young intends to keep coming up with series focused on the medical and police worlds rather than adhere to Birtist doctrine which actually dictates a reduction of such products.Young noted that BBC is renowned for emphasizing quality, even to taking that trait to extremes.
