Toy sales are go!

Article Abstract:

Licensing and merchandising play a major role in children's television in the US, where the toy industry was valued at $17 billion in 2000. United Kingdom-based Just Group bought airtime on the US' Fox Family Channel for its "The Jellabies Show," and is banking its profitability on ancillary activities rather than advertising or sponsorships. The Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Co. is following a similar strategy in its effort to purchase airtime around the world.
