Watts to run Disney's European production

Article Abstract:

Walt Disney Television International (WDTI) has chosen Mike Watts, the former managing director of World Productions, as its new vice-president and managing director of production for Europe. Watts, who will be based in WDTI's London, UK, office, is expected to supervise both Disney and non-Disney branded output including the company's production finance and operations. WDTI, whose current programs include "Microsoap," its first co-production with BBC, intends to increase its locally produced shows on the The Disney Channel UK.
