A leading indicator approach to predicting short-term shifts in demand for business travel by air to and from the UK
Article Abstract:
The possibility of using indicator information for predicting short-term shifts in demand for business travel by air to and from the UK is explored. The estimated probit model is supported for its greater accuracy, rather than the benchmark linear model.

Development of a multifunctional sales response model with the diagnostic aid of artificial neural networks
Article Abstract:
A model that predicts sales by the application of an elastic parametric response function is advanced. Neural network modeling is also incorporated into the model to enhance prediction.
