Evolutionary dynamics in markets with many trader types
Article Abstract:
The dynamical behavior of heterogeneous markets with many trader types is analyzed. Stability, bifurcation routes to instability and strange attractors in a simple evolutionary financial market model are examined. It is concluded that a large evolutionary system may become unstable and complicated when agents become sensitive to small differences.
