A SANDF for the 21st century

Article Abstract:

The announcement of 2004-05 national budget brought the favoring financial news after the year of defense cuts and the static spending for the South African National Defense Force (SANDF), which comprises of South African Air Force (SAAF), South African Navy (SAN) and South African Military Health Services (SAMHS). The spearhead of the future force of the SAAF is the 28 GRIPEN 4th generation multifold fighters, and the HOEFYSTER project, a re-equipment project of the South African Army.

Article Abstract:

The Polish-American partnership in Iraq, Poland's rationale and the implications of its behavior are discussed. The diplomatic relations between these two countries is a key example that shows that ideas do matter in international politics, and that admixture of history and ideology has a strong impact on policymakers, journalists, and other elites.
