A single game plan

Article Abstract:

The two top federal entities of the U.S. defense, Northern Command (NorthCom) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are working together to integrate new and existing operations and streamline cooperation and communications at all levels involving several units. Some of them include Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS), which assists local responders with consequence management, and JTF-6, which primarily is focused on counter-drug missions.

Article Abstract:

The Revolution in military affairs, RMA is considered necessary for the future of war. Some authors laboriously oriented on definitions and historical classifications, whereas others just ignored two millennia of military history and advocated the new wave of Information Superiority and its presumed dominance for American arms.

Beyond the 3-block war: The Corps should look to its small-wars past

Article Abstract:

Marine Corps have focused on traditional amphibious warfare over the years and should re-embrace its role as an imperial constabulary. In future, the Marines are more expected and likely to engage in stability and peacekeeping operations than the amphibious warfare.
