Tensions escalate between Georgia and South Ossetia
Article Abstract:
The tense relations between Georgia and South Ossetia that have sporadic outbreaks of violence is escalated with death of two Georgian special forces personnel and reports from Russian peace keeping troops in South Ossetia about firing at one of their check points from unknown assailants. The pressure on South Ossetia is related to the pending decision on Kosovo's final status, which is linked to Abkhazia and South Ossetia, demonstrating the double standards practiced by the West.
