Article Abstract:

The views of the chiefs of Navy of the nations surrounding the Baltic Sea on the significance attach to the Baltic Sea as prime example of sea area fro, literal warfare are presented. According to Chiefs of Staff German Navy the Baltic has changed from a potential battlefield to a field of co-operation and training especially in respect to littoral warfare.

He describes the CODAG gear system, which is more complex and weighs more than the CODOG gear system but cost of the gear is compensated by the central monitoring station, which reduces the complex operations.
