Barco targets lower-cost market segment with new family of thinLITE rugged displays

Article Abstract:

Barco (Kortrijk, Belgium) is planning to launch a new family of rugged displays during the DSEi defense systems and equipment exhibition to be held in London from 13th to 16th September 2005. As compared to Barco's existing range of high-end rugged displays, the new product line, known as the thinLITE family is claimed to feature half the thickness, half the weight, half the power consumption, and half the price.

Odyssey II promises greatly improved ATM and air defense

Article Abstract:

The Odyssey II is a new concept for a network-centric integrated workstation for air traffic management (ATM) and air defense, as shown at the ATC Maastricht 2006 exhibition in Netherlands. Odyssey II is designed to reduce the workload and increase the efficiency of the operators.
