CTM develops digital fire-control system
Article Abstract:
The CTM naval technology research and technology center at Gdynia, Poland has developed and qualified a new digital fire-control system for Russian-built naval guns, the PAr 176/730. This system is suitable for AK-630 30 mm close-in weapon system, the AK-176 76 mm general-purpose gun, the AK--725 57 mm gun and the AK-726 76 mm gun.

Poland's WZM-5 unveils Irbis APC prototype
Article Abstract:
A new Irbis 6x6 armored personnel vehicle, designed by the Polish WZM-5 military depot in Poznan was unveiled during the MSPO 2005 defense exhibition held in Kielca, Poland in September 2005. The new Irbis is a variant with Rafael's RCWS-30 weapon station, armed with a 30mm Mk44 cannon and a 7.62 00 machine gun.

New Polish anti-materiel rifle should enter service in 2006
Article Abstract:
Zakiady Mechaniczne Tarnow delivered a batch of the new 12.7 mm anti-materiel rifle Tor to the Polish Ministry of National Defense for final acceptance tests. Tor is a highly ergonomic, bullpupclass, bolt-action rifle for 12.7 x 99 mm (0.50 Browning) rounds, weighs 16.7 kg in combat configuration.
