Dire straits: Piracy and Maritime terror in Southeast Asia
Article Abstract:
The security of shipping in Southeastern Asian ports and waters, especially in the Malacca and Singapore Straits, has become the major concern for countries in and outside the region since late 2003. The preventive steps that should be taken in the Indonesian and other regions in order to curb the maritime terror in the Southeast Asia are discussed.

Integrated survivability for land platforms
Article Abstract:
The survivability technologies are exploited for air transportable platforms and determined in generic terms the ability of such platforms to survive on the battlefield. The armour protection, stealth and Defensive Aid Systems (DAS) are the three main contributors of survivability.
