IDEX 2003-overshadowed by the war on Iraq
Article Abstract:
The IDEX 2003 show was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and it showed that UAE is stable and safe country that is not directly affected by the Iraq war. The show did not have any revolutionary designs, developments, and systems but the naval industry of all five continents were present as Abu Dhabi is the main market place for military sales in the Middle East.

IDEX 2005 showcased its seventh bi-annual defense exhibition at Abu Dhabi in Middle East. The exhibition was participated by 11 Naval ships of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Navy and attracted attention of the representatives of foreign countries.
