Article Abstract:

The strategies used by the US expeditionary forces while fighting in Iraq and during the Vietnam War are compared. The lessons learnt during the Vietnam War should be fused with those of Iraq to assist in the constant revisionism that military forces must explore and enact if they are to remain credible as peacemaking and peacekeeping guardians of the good society.
