JCB launches lift truck and unveils high-mobility 4 by 4 vehicle

Article Abstract:

JCB has started its Military Products Business Unit (MPBU) with the launch of two high-speed military trucks, the High Mobility Variable Reach Truck (HMVRT) and High Mobility Utility Vehicle (HMUV) in 2006. Based on JCB's High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE), the 4x4 HMVRT is being developed for Lifter ATLAS 2/All Terrain US Army System requirements, and the final concept of the 4 by 4 HMUV would be determined in conjunction with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Controp STAMPS on mini-UAV payloads

Article Abstract:

A new family of stabilized miniature payloads for mini-unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was displayed at the stand of Israeli electro-optic specialist Controp Precision Technology at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris. Known as STAMP (STAbilised Miniature Payload), the company showed a version known as D-STAMP.
