Meet the peacekeeper
Article Abstract:
Peacekeeper Technologies Inc. introduced a six-chamber mockup of an unconventional weapon system in June 1998, which can considerably enhance the performance of the M-16 assault weapon. Made of composite materials that eliminate rust and reduce the need for maintenance, the new Peacekeeper weapon system can be utilized either as an attachment to an M-16, or as a stand-alone weapon. The Peacekeeper includes an electronic ignition system that allows the user to fire from a remote location using a radio signal, or other electronic means of command such as infrared, motion detection, or trip wire. Without requiring batteries and encompassing no moving parts, the Peacekeeper can carry 36 rounds of as many as six ammunition types, which can be loaded in different combinations.
