Military trucks revisited (I)

Article Abstract:

The current technological, operational and commercial trends of the military trucks are discussed. The introduction of multi-mode transport systems based on standard containerized units and the use of the relevant dedicated trucks represent a true revolution in military logistic concepts and hence the need for intermediate en-route actions is minimized and the speed of re-supply operations are substantially improved.

Article Abstract:

Expeditionary operations present the completely different challenge of an extreme variety of intervention and engineer missions. Engineering support for expeditionary operations must be organized based on an accurate appraisal of the local conditions and the various priorities for movement.

Combat engineer equipment revisited

Article Abstract:

A change in the global strategic scenario has shown the need for combat units as intervention forces for expeditionary operations with the engineers playing a vital role, hence the different engineering equipment is examined and from different countries too.
