Multifunction radars ready to realize their potential

Article Abstract:

The new naval multifunctional radar (MFR) has advanced the technologies by performing several radar functions at the same time, managing its time and budget so that each operational function is performed in very rapid succession. The features, advantages, and limitations of the MFR are presented.

Anti-ship weapons updated to target the shore

The western hemisphere's long-range surface-to-surface guided weapons (SSGWs) houses are re-engineering their products to provide greater flexibility and precision in the littoral. The existing programmes and the market drivers of the SSGWs are examined.

Norway looks into future submarine capability
