Article Abstract:

The situational awareness and targeting capabilities of US tactical warfighters have been improved by the uprise in the US military's focus on airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems enhanced by the arrival of long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicles. The Air Force's SIGINT ISR aircraft, the RC-135 Rivet Joint, provides support to warfighters by processing ISR data and SIGINT collection.
