The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, or the 9/11 Commission, have presented their report on the deadliest-ever foreign attack on the United States. The report shows that the military personnel and the operational personnel at the Federal Aviation Administration or Northeast Air Defense Sector have struggled a lot to improvise homeland defense against an unprecedented challenge, which they have never encountered and trained to meet those consequences.

Aerospace world: Nine airmen killed in crash
Article Abstract:
The U.S. Air Force officials are investigating the cause of the crash of MC-130H Combat Talon II special operations aircraft, which happened on March 31, 2005, in Albania, killing nine airmen. The U.S. Air Force is facing about $733 million shortage in personnel funding and based on the current burn rates, a $3 billion shortfall is projected in the operations and maintenance by the end of 2005.
