Singapore Homeland Security: The official view
Article Abstract:
The Singapore Homeland Security, which provides overall direction and co-ordination in counter-terrorism contingency and capacity development, is established to minimize the terrorist activities as much as possible. The legislative and policy changes, operational measures, counter-terrorism outreach and community involvement in tackling the terrorist activities within the country are discussed.

Homeland security: The NY experience
Article Abstract:
Both New York City as well as New York State takes the problem of Homeland Security much more seriously than any other city in the world. The New York State's response to terrorism, counter-terrorism network, and penalties related to acts or threats of terrorism and the goals established by the State Homeland Security Strategy are discussed.
