CVED moves towards roll-out
Article Abstract:
The Combat Vehicle Electric Drive (CVED) demonstrator being developed in South Africa by Armscor might be launched in the first quarter of 2006. The objectives of the CVED programme include determining the comparative strategic and tactical mobility of the demonstrator, its life-cycle costs, and Combat Vehicle Electric Drive electromagnetic compatibility.
